Who Wants to Be A Tour Guide?

Hello Readers!

It was an exciting weekend for me. I went home to celebrate my mother's birthday on Friday and then on Saturday I went to a Mets game. The Mets won in great fashion-Ike Davis hit a grand slam to win the ball game in the bottom of the 9th inning. It was extremely exciting to be able to see the Mets win that way. Also on Saturday was the Medieval Times Albertus@Night event hosted by the Resident Assistants. It was a great event. Contestants were competing in games such as cornhole toss, twister,  noodle fighting and the last game was where the contestant had to fill a balloon with air and then knock as many cups as they can off of a table. The winner was Earl McCoy, a member of the men's soccer team as well as a student tour guide. Below, Earl McCoy shows off his crown as he was crowned king because he won the event.

Last week as lead tour guides, Sharinna Luna and I hosted a tour guide information table in Bree Common for any students that are interested in becoming tour guides. We had a great turn out. We received several new applications which is great so we can add some new tour guides for when the seniors graduate in May. If anyone is interested in becoming a tour guide, please see Sharinna or myself. It is a great opportunity to make money while staying on campus so you do not need a car to travel. Below is a picture of Sharinna and I recruiting tour guides.
