Let's Go Albertus Basketball!

I hope everyone is having a great week! In this blog I would like to talk about the extraordinary performance by the Albertus Magnus College basketball team. Led by Head Coach Mitch Oliver, the Falcons have done an amazing job this year. On February 25th, the Falcons took on the Norwich Cadets in the GNAC quarterfinals game, which was hosted at "The Nest." The Falcon student section was jam packed with students. Fans all around the gym were screaming and yelling as loud as they could to show support for their Falcons. Leading Albertus with 18 points, senior Darius Watson played an outstanding game. He was scoring from all over the floor. Right from the start, the Falcons were making tough shots and playing unstoppable defense. Below is a photo taken from the student section. As you can see, it was a great place to sit because you were so close to the game. On February 27th, the 24-2 Falcons will host the 16-10 Lasell Lasers at 7:00 p.m. at "The Nest" for the semifinal round of the GNAC conference. Come on down and support your Falcons!
